  7. Learning outcomes of the course unit:

As a result of mastering the module a student must have the following:

knowledge: the subject and tasks of the pedagogical psychology; the history of the pedagogical psychology formation as a subject; the methods of cognition and using the psychological and personal potential of the teacher, pupil (student) in the process of training and upbringing.

skills: to own the social experience; use psychological regularities and mechanisms of the educational process in practice; to know the regularities of the psychological activity of the person in the process of development and self-development, upbringing and self-upbringing, teaching and self-teaching; to understand main principles rooted in the process of general psychology and general pedagogics, with which it has much in common like a specialized branch of psychological studies; to use interconnections between upbringing, teaching and developing growing generation in work.

  2. Prerequisites and co-requisites: General Psychology, Pedagogics, Developmental Psychology

  3. Course contents:

General principles of Pedagogical Psychology; psychology of upbringing; upbringing and communication; psychology of training; psychology of pupil educational activity; pedagogical management of psychic and personal development of a pupil; psychology of pedagogical activity and teacher psychology; pedagogical psychology of abnormal and extremal cases.

  • Current assessment (70%): examination of psychological situations, oral reports, programmed control;

  • final assessment (30% exam): self-test, final test.
